Steps in Values Clarification (worksheet can be found on mindtools.com):
Step 1: Analyzing times when you feel the happiest. Pick five times over your past when you felt the happiest and identify what specifically led to the state of happiness.
Step 2: Identify the times when you are the most proud. Do the same as in Step 1 but consider the feeling of being proud — if even for a moment — you felt glad to be you.
Step 3: Identifying times when you are most fulfilled and satisfied.
Step 4: Determining your values. As you look over what you wrote in steps 1-3 consider what values were at play.
